Spring is in the air! Refreshing to see bursts of colour everywhere - a sign that warmer, sunnier days are hopefully just around the corner. As always we are looking forward to receiving your Virtual Spring Show flower entries!

Please remember that your submissions must be in no later than 5pm Friday 4 April.  Participating couldn't be easier!  Decide what class (or classes) you wish to enter, arrange them in your own vase, take a photo and send that photo plus your contact details by email to showsdhhs@gmail.com.    

Our lovely local judge Nicky will be reviewing entries the next day and we should be announcing the winners and sharing their photos on our website the week commencing 7 April.  

One entry per class per household.  Please use your own vases.

Please enter as many classes as you can in the spirit of friendly competition.

Section 1: Flowers

1.         A specimen stem of daffodil - any division*.

2.         A vase containing 5 stems of daffodils, mixed.

3.         A vase containing 3 stems of tulips, one or more varieties.

4.         A pot or bowl of growing bulbs, any variety.

5.         A single stem of a flowering shrub.

Section 2:  Floral Arrangement

6.         Basket of Spring Flowers and Foliage, open staging, unlimited height but all contained within your photograph.

 Section 3: Children (under 12 years)

7.         A jam jar of spring flowers.

* This can include miniatures, doubles or multi headed varieties as well as single blooms.  Please include image from front and side for Class 1.

All entries must be received by 5pm on Friday, 4 April.
