Until We Meet Again...

Annual General Meeting Cancelled

We had planned on getting together in the Winn Hall at Dunsfold for our Annual General Meeting but sadly rising cases numbers across the UK and globally suggest that large gatherings are not advisable at this time.  Your health and well being, and that of the local community, is our primary concern during these uncertain times.  Therefore, we have made a decision tocancelthis meeting and to send out materials for the AGM by post and email to our members.  Our annual accounts, some proposals that will require your approval and an overview of the year will be sent out within the next week.  We hope you will read these materials and continue to the support the Society.

Looking Forward

We are hoping to hold the lecture with garden historian Cherrill Sands next year either in person or virtually via Zoom.  Should the coronavirus prevent us getting together, we will endeavour to create a programme of lectures online.  We are organising a few small workshops for making your own Christmas wreaths and more information on those will come out shortly.  Obviously these will only proceed if government guidelines allow.  Unfortunately, our Christmas party planned for early December will not be held this year.

We look forward to better times and when we can safely meet again.  In the meantime, enjoy the Autumn colour and look after yourselves.

Best wishes
